If You Can?

This morning I read the Streams in the Desert and it really blessed me so much that I want to make sure you all come to read it as well:

Feb 22

This part specifically is what touched my heart this morning: “The greatest problem with most of us is, after asking Him to do it, we do not believe it is done. Instead, we keep trying to help Him, get others to help Him, and anxiously wait to see how He is going to work.”

I am in a situation currently where I am waiting on Him to move us to Cape Town and not a day goes by that I ask my Husband, should I say something? Should I do something? Hahahaha, of course, today, I got the confirmation. Believe it is done and leave it in His hands. ❀️🌷❀️

  1. Wow Yvonne, thank you for sharing this! This is a powerful devotional and a reminder that we must have faith and believe that He heard us, we must just take our hands off and believe and thank Him for what we cannot see! He is working! And He can!!

  2. Thanks Yvonne for sharing. This Devotional really touched my heart this morning, because I’m going through a similar situation to his, but of course He already gave us the answer, right?
He already did it and that’s it… let’s just wait for his time…

  3. Yvonne, I haven’t yet read the streams because I was working with my Husband to find the remedy so the link would take you to the correct day. You need to create the usual LINK rather than pasting it in if it’s the POST. If it’s a comment, it works just to leave the URL since it doesn’t modify it plus there’s no way in a comment to create a link.

Now to comment on the devotional I say YES, exactly we don’t believe it’s done (maybe we’re waiting for the appointed time for us to see it) and I always want to add, we PROVE we don’t believe because so many continue to BEG and ask everyone to pray and BEG on their behalf. So much to learn here…

  4. Thanks for sharing this Yvonne, I was so encouraged by the message because as you said I can not avoid to try to check if my prayer was received because I can not seen anything happening. But here is the reminder the key of our lack of patience, BELIEVE that it is done.

  5. I just have to laugh, I think this devotional speaks to all of us, I also had my moment alone with my Beloved feeling how it calls my attention as to what kind of faith I have. Even with the call for attention I see how He is wonderful and does not leave us alone, guiding us on the path to follow

  6. Really dear Yvonne who never got anxious begging and trying to help after asking Him throw the first stone ☺ what a beautiful devotional!

  7. Such a beautiful Reminder that we can’t do it in our strength…. Thanks so much for this beautiful reminder…
