Dear Brides, This Chapter 4. Promises in Moving Mountains truly will have you bursting with excitement as you read through how our HH moved an impossible mountain and blessed Erin and her family seeing it all happen.
I have read this chapter many times and each time as I read I feel like I am right beside Michele feeling the excitement, and all the emotions with knowing HE is MOVING the Mountain. It is truly an amazing chapter. Reading this testimony renews my mind to always believe there is NOTHING impossible for HIM.
Not only is it to believe that HE can do anything, but its to be so close to HIM as to not try on our own strength. Sometimes in our nature, we do this first like Michele’s son trying to make the trip happen and it failed. Then to take that experience as I read it to walk in faith and seek Him in every decision and every step so all the glory is HIS.
I think so often we tend to see our situations as dead or defeated, but it is the contrary!! We need to see situations as opportunities for our HH to raise the dead and bring life. I love when we hear someone say “we have never done this before”, but like with Michele it is getting done and that is what makes us fall in Love with HIM. HE takes care of us.
John 10:10-11 NIV “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
Let’s pray and please lay down what is on your heart: My Love, I ask for forgiveness if I ever tried to go ahead of you or worse not accept the gifts you want to give me. I want to always open my heart so I can be sensitive to your voice and will for me. I pray I can be the bride that always brings you glory. I know when my mind comes across a situation it starts working to see what “I” can do, but reading this chapter reminds me that it is all about seeking Him and His will even if it doesn’t make sense or all odds are against us.
This book Moving Mountains will take you out of your comfort zone and SHOW you just how mighty and powerful our HH is. Bless Michele that allowed and obeyed the Lord to work through her as she walked it out to be a testimony to all of us.
