Leaving a legacy of Love

β€œAnd now these three remain: faith, hope and love.Β But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV

I just want to praise the Lord, My Beloved Heavenly Husband for all the amazing changes He has made in my family's lives!

As I shared before, I wasnΒ΄t raised in a Christian-loving home, and I must confess that I didnΒ΄t know how to properly love my children or raise them to become wise women! The first huge miracle for me was coming to this ministry completely shattered to become a new woman!

When I read the Wise Woman course, the scales of my eyes fell and I was convinced that I needed to learn how to love well and heal from all my past experiences. I desperately needed His love to love my children! This chapter β€œYour Mother’s Teachings” Precious & Pleasant Riches is a must for me every year!

I knew I tried so hard to be the mom my kids needed, the one My Beloved has called me to be. Between the messes, squabbles, and crazy life, my fire and passion for this journey may flicker a bit. But I wanted to have a new home!

Our time on this earth is so short, only just a vapor (James 4:14). My time raising these precious little ones is even more fleeting. Oh, how I want my children to remember seeing their Heavenly Father in me! A wise woman once told me to begin with the end in mind. My sweet brides, we must make a plan for the legacy we want to leave and stay the course as we allow our Beloved to make us into the women He desires us to be!

I am intentionally walking with Him, and He is shining through me, illuminating the darkness around me (2 Corinthians 4:6-7). As a daughter of the King, it is no longer me who lives, but my Heavenly Husband who lives in me (Galatians 2:20)! My children are seeing my faithfulness to My Beloved, which will become the scaffolding they build their lives upon!

We are spending time together in the Word, learning scripture, declaring life, and changing our mindsets to live by faith. We choose to dress, eat, read, watch, and live differently (that is why we live in the country side of Costa Rica πŸ€—). We are learning so much from the people who gave their lives for Him! Watching movies, reading books, doing crafts, cooking! Just enjoying each other!

The legacy I want to leave is my offering to the Lord that continues long past my last breath on earth. I am loving with the purpose and selflessness written about in 1 Corinthians 13. This is the time to submit my life to the Lord and allow Him to leave a legacy of love through me!

Loves really changes everything! πŸ’•

    1. My sweet Atarah, we are all together in our motherhood journey to raise up Godly pure-hearted children, movers, and shakers for this generation! Spend time with them with the Word, that will change your life and relationship forever!

  4. Thank you, my dear Isabella, for sharing. As a new mom I wanted to do things perfect, resulting in me trying to hard and it often resulted in failure. Now that I have my Beloved who guides me, I do not have to try that hard in the flesh, I must just remain in Him and follow His guidance.
