He said I didn't show him love and neglected him, and he said he has tried to save our marriage for many years already, and that's true, I didn't appreciate him and regret it a lot now. I'm devastated and depressed.
Please use the space below to simply speak to God, in your own words, pouring your heart out to Him.
Dear God, pls give me the strength to keep standing for my marriage and peace in this turmoil, give me guidance on what I should do. 1. Dear Pearl, I know some of what you are going through. I was once in your shoes of being married but my husband living elsewhere. We have actually been restored 2x. The first time He said he loved me but wasn’t “in love” with me anymore and left, the second time I told him to leave. There was another woman both times. I also did not appreciate my husband and was always complaining. I was full of pain, sadness & bitterness. It’s hard but know that the Lord hates divorce but has all the control and with Him ALL things are possible.

    Start our courses (https://hopeatlast.com/rrr/), pour your heart into your Lesson Forms and watch him transform you.
    Also, I love to read Psalms & Proverbs. https://encouragingwomen.org/psalms-proverbs/

    One of my favorite verses I would remind myself of what love is…it’s not full of pain, sadness or bitterness but: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 1Co13:4-8

    Allow Him to wrap you in His robe of righteousness. His love has the power to heal everything. Let Him mold you and transform you into the woman He has called you to be.

  2. Dear precious Pearl, I see you mentioned that you are suicidal and depressed. I too struggled with it and after trying to commit suicide and not succeeding in it, I asked the Lord to help me and He healed me of depression and our Loving Lord will do it for you too. I started filling my heart daily with the word of God, my favorite promise is (please meditate on this promise too):
    “Everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” I35:10

    I also struggled to sleep, but this promise helped me so much: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.” P4:8

    I agree with Hope, please start our courses and important is journaling with it, it was life changing for me. Please see this lesson for the adultery because that was a mistake I also made when married to my earthly husband the first time, which our Darling Lord freed me from and also wants to free you from: https://hopeatlast.com/c1/d18-chapter-14-first-to-throw-a-stone/it-was-me/

    And precious Pearl please remember nothing at all is impossible for our Darling Lord: “For nothing will be impossible with God.” L1:37
    And also remember the Lord will do it for you, relax in His love, He is there right beside you.

    1. Thanks Janine, I appreciate you telling me you’ve been thru what I’m going thru, the dark thoughts are hard to suppress and I’m trying not to give in.

      1. Dear precious Pearl, take your darling Lord’s hand, He is the One that is going to do it for you, just like He did it for me. And my Darling Lord said to tell you, just like He did to me years ago, to change your words and start speaking His word over your life.
        Death and life are in the power of the tongue P18:21; For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. H4:12
        I would meditate on verses like this:
        Heal me (of depression), Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. J7:14
        Everlasting joy is crowning my head, gladness and joy is overtaking them and sorrow and joy fleed away (“Everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” I35:10) And because God’s word is sharper than any two-edged sword, I am a living testimony my dear Pearl and I get exited of what our Darling Lord is going to do in your life.
        And please agree with me that our Darling Lord is freeing you from this depression (“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” M18:19-20 )

    Psalm 23:1-3 NKJV
    “The Lord is my shepherd,
    I shall not want.
    He makes me lie down in green pastures;
    He leads me beside quiet waters.
    He restores my soul;
    He leads me in the paths of righteousness
    For His name’s sake.

    “Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil;
    For You are with me;
    Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

    “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
    You anoint my head with oil;
    My cup runs over.
    Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
    All the days of my life;
    And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    Forever.”

  4. Dear Pearl, I remember the days I had no peace because of what happened around me. “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
    The peace of God slowly embraced me when I dwell in His presence. If there’s one thing that I want to share with you about what I learned on RMI, and it’s going to apply for the rest of my life, would be running to God when I am overwhelmed by what’s in front of me. When you feel uneasy and even depressed, run – run to the Lord! His peace which surpasses all understanding will give you the comfort you need and stay with Him. “Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. ” Psalm 62:8
    I also want to encourage you to read https://hopeatlast.com/c2/establishing-relationships-restoration-secrets/
    These are principles you want to follow thru if you are seeking restoration. But remember, for many of us, this journey starts with reconciliation with God first more than anything.

    1. Thank you so much, I still trying to feel the presence of God when I’m lonely (that’s the time when the dark thoughts will come), I’m praying everyday for God to draw me closer to him so I can feel his peace and comfort.
