MY BELOVED PARENT AND CHILD – 5 OCTOBER

https://encouragingwomen.org/devotional/my-beloved/october/#October5

Precious beloved parent and child, lets not fail to share what our Darling Lord has done for us! When I just think of all the things my Darling Lord has done for me, it fills my heart with warmth.

Lets give Him all the glory and praise He deserves!
Thank You my Darling for all Your love, for all Your understanding, thank You that I am Yours, thank You for filling me with peace and joy, thank You for all Your grace, thank You for all Your provision in my life, thank You for being for being part of my Life, thank You that You lead me, thank You that I am the clay in Your hands, thank You for having my future in Your hands, thank You that there is hope in You, thank You for my sons and bringing my son home and keeping Your word: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I43:5 (https://www.bible.com/bible/111/ISA.43.5.NIV)"

And I just have to add here it was in a time that my son was living with his dad and they lived in the East and the Lord did bring my son from the East. Thank You my Darling Lord that Your word is true!

And there is so much more that my Darling Lord does for me, but I would be writing forever. Please join me in giving our Darling Lord all the honor and praise.

  1. Thank you Janine for sharing! Yes He deserves all the praises and glory! “I say to the LORD, β€œYou are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” Psalm 16:2 How wonderful it is to rest in His words, knowing those are the only truth I need to hang onto – no more wavering and doubting!

  2. Thank you dear Janine for this testimony, you know that our own testimonies are a balm that the Lord uses to encourage us at all times. There is so much to be grateful for, just like you, if I look back I see how wonderful my Beloved has been, I totally recommend what you just reminded us, doing gratitude therapy leads us to focus on praising Him and takes our gaze away and hearts than we tear down the spirit. We must praise him and share for the big and small things he does for us.

  3. Thank you very much for sharing it Janine, I agree with Perla… there are countless times in which my testimonies have encouraged me, and gratitude definitely leads us to count the blessings we have in life, which are so many!! Which instantly gives us encouragement and hope, helps us see that HE has been faithful and gives us hope to continue the journey. Without a doubt, gratitude therapy strengthens us spiritually, and I would love to recommend the book “From Prison to Praise” which is wonderful for when we feel discouraged. https://encouragingbookstore.com/recommended-reading/

  4. I also agree with Perla, dear Anastasia, my testimonies too encourage me: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. R12:11 (https://biblehub.com/revelation/12-11.htm)
The book Prison to Praise (https://www.amazon.com/Prison-Praise-Merlin-R-Carothers/dp/0943026024/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1463562427&sr=8-1&keywords=Prison+to+Praise#detailBullets_feature_div), it is really a must read book, it really changes our discouragement into hope the moment we praise our Darling Lord.
