I never ever thought it would mean so much to year my dad say the words I LOVE YOU to my mum...
My dad had a stroke in November 2023 and the specialist explained that all my dad's brain damage is in his speech and we even saw the brain scans but again our Darling Lord is the best ever Healer. (Please listen to the podcast I did two days after my dad's stroke)
When my mother would tell my dad, after the stroke that she loved him, he would just say yes and it was painful to see the look in my mums eyes, but we would just keep quiet because we are grateful that my dad is alive, but the best is yet to come... because our hope is in One bigger that any specialist or brain scan.
In this week my dad said to my mum out of the blue, I LOVE YOU MY WIFE. Wow that touched my heart so much, because after the stroke the specialist said that we as family would understand my dad but not others and it just proves our Wonderful Best Ever Healer has the last say!!!
"'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. J33:6
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1C13:13 and our Darling Lord's Love really surpasses all understanding!
