Transformed my selfish heart

β€œBring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and put Me to the test now in this,” says the Lord of armies, β€œif I do not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows”. M310

Today I want to praise my Heavenly Husband because He has transformed my heart that used to hold back, fear giving, and sharing with others into a generous heart that blesses, which has given me much more joy and blessed my relationships, especially with my family.

The transformation began when my Beloved taught me the principle of tithing, which I must confess I was long reluctant to do when I attended my previous church because I had heard from many people (non-believers) bad comments about incorrect β€œintentions" from the pastors, they encouraged us not to be β€œstupid” and give our tithe to β€œenrich” them, who they said should live in poverty because they have the idea that that is the β€œright” thing to do. This is a wrong idea if we think about how much they help and bless us in EVERYTHING by feeding us spiritually! Because as soon as our soul prospers He blesses us in EVERYTHING. Wouldn't God want to abundantly bless those who feed us spiritually? However, it is not the objective to enrich them and it is not the desire of our Beloved but rather He blesses those who bless others so that they continue to be a means of His blessing, HE does not want us to withhold but to GIVE. Giving to His church (our Storehouse) opens the door to giving many more people blessings, which is what unbelievers do not talk about, of course, because we give in such a way that the right hand does not know what the left gave.

β€œBeloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers”. 3J22

β€œBut when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing”. M63

Once I found myself completely bankrupt both spiritually and financially and God told me that I had failed in tithing. I decided to obey Him and give of what I had at that time and very soon I became a Partner πŸ’– of the Ministry to commit to my tithe, although it was not much, it was how I started, and immediately my Beloved opened the door to blessing because HE met my needs, and He provided me with a well-paid job that also allowed me to work from home and have much time with Him, which I needed so much at that time (the most arduous part of my crisis).

Today, I can see how much He continues to bless me not only financially but in EVERYTHING: in my relationships, in my soul, and in my ministry, which has certainly given me more joy than retaining my tithe. My Beloved has been faithful in rebuking the devourer!! I thank Him because I no longer live in fear of being missed if I give but I know that while I give He blesses me much more! That's very true! I praise him because in his love there is no fear!!

β€œThere is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.” 1J418

  1. β€œI remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:13-14

This is so good my sweet Anastasia, giving changes our lives around and makes us appreciate more what we have!
When we tithe our lives are fully transformed to recognize who is the One who supports and provides for us!
The action of giving changes our perspective!

    1. That’s true my dear! Giving changes our perspective and give us more joy than ever!

  2. Thank you for sharing precious Anastasia. I remember the times I would hold back for the fear of having less and yes it became less, but I do remember give and having more and I am forever grateful for learning here at RMI, the important principal of tithing, that changed my life.

    1. Yes, is true! When we hold back we will have less, but when we give He gives us much more in return, which is amazing!

  3. Thank you for sharing too, dear Anastasia.
Thank you for the encouragement and the reminder, this is truly very important. I tithe from everything big or small, sometimes I don’t even know when I get the money in my account, He is the first telling me to tithe, then I go to my account and realise , that’s true , I have got money I need to tithe. I often forget when money comes into my account but he tells me always, it’s His care

    1. How beautiful what you share, not keeping in mind what we have in the account, is something we learned from the Census that King David took, and it is better not to rely on it but only on our Beloved.

  4. Thank yu dear Anastasia. Before my journey started, I really did not know about tithing, only offering at the end of a church service, the church I grew up in never taught about tithing. The first time I really heard about tithing was when I got married and my former husband and mother in law started to tell me about it and my first instinct was much the same as what you described. But even then my Beloved started to work in my heart regarding tithing and I started to tithe, but not regularly because of fear of lack. Needless to say I saw the destruction in my life and finances. But when I started my journey and obeyed my Beloved Who again started to speak to my heart, my situation and finances started to turn around for good.
