His mercies are new every morning

"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 9:13

Hello hello beautiful brides!

I'm so glad so grateful that His mercies are new every morning! There are days I've found, when I do something or I just feel "spiritually off" I feel sad, very sad, hopeless etc lazy and want to hide away.

But yesterday especially, was an interesting day.
I had a beautiful and wonderful day with my young children. We went up on a mountain looking for wildflowers, to transplant to my new yard. It was breathtaking. The whole mountain side was covered with yellow miniature sunflowers. We explored, found turkey feather and we sang and told stories. We read book out on a blanket in the yard and played tag. It was just a really lovely day.

My EH (earthly husband) gave me money today, (praise God) and I went to the store and got some things I needed and some things I didn't. But I went to use my food card only to discover it was empty. Zero balance.

Which sent me into a whirlwind. How can I still have 20 days until it refills? I buy a lot of snacks and energy drinks. To be honest. And I know my Love has been gently calling me from that away to a new place. But I gave up recently.

So here I am, very sad about how short I fall. But this time, I am slowly learning, that this is a good place to be, because when I admit I cannot do it, I am weak, I desperately need His help that is when He makes me an overcomer a conqueror! So I had a tiny bit of hope whereas last time I felt so down and hopeless I couldnt see past the darkness for a whole day!

I chose to go up to my room, read my psalms and Proverbs, sing to Him, just talk to Him and give Him that sacrifice of praise I know He wants.

But how wonderful that when we wake up, His mercies are new?! I woke up, feeling encouraged, feeling hopeful, knowing I'll get to see His glory work in me and my life soon!!

So if you think about me, please pray for your girl. That she would lay down snacks, energy drinks and pick up a cook book and make meal plans again and be that woman that I know I can be!

Thank you all πŸ₯°

  2. Thank you for sharing precious Rasa, it immediately lets me think of this part I read again today:
Living the Abundant Life – Chapter 3: https://loveatlast.org/fc/living-the-abundant-life/chapter-3-the-wave-of-adversity/
    “Needing His Spirit
One principle I know I did learn from Erin was the way we can easily measure if something is from the Lord or not. Somewhere she taught that if we can do something on our own, we’re working in the flesh. While the opposite is also true: if we need the help of the Holy Spirit, it means it’s clearly from Him.”
Dear precious Rasa apart from Him we really can’t do anything:
“β€œI am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” J15:5 https://biblehub.com/john/15-5.htm
And yes isn’t it so wonderful that our Darling Lord’s mercies are new every day.

    1. I’ve been considering that quite a bit, when it’s the flesh and when it’s the spirit. great wisdom there! thank you for reminding me!

  3. Thank you, dear Rasa, on my journey I have also been in those places where I did something in the flesh and then sat with the consequences. But through it my Beloved always taught me something, and I learned to embrace these circumstances to allow my Beloved to change me. We will always fall short, and we must be willing to embrace being on the Potter’s wheel. Although it is sometimes painful, we can always praise Him in the storms because there is always something good that He brings out of these situations.

    1. We really will always fall short but being on His wheel is truly the best place to be! Praises praises that He is the most capable artist of my hearts! make us beautiful more and more beloved!
