Hello Ladies!
I want to share with you all how wonderful and protective my Heavenly Husband is and how the enemy just got a black eye when he tried to mess with me! Yeah!
I am a new member of our translation team. I am from India and am helping with Hindi translations. Last Saturday was my first day of translation work.
On Friday, I woke up from a terrifying dream. In the dream, I saw someone breaking into my house with a big rifle. Trying to kill me. The dream ended when I received a call from my mother informing me that she was critically ill and that I needed to return to my hometown right away. I was shaken by the news and the terrifying dream just minutes ago, weighing heavy on my mind. Everything was happening so fast. I could see fear creeping in. I immediately called my work and requested emergency leave and booked my tickets to travel to my mom.
I was sad and scared. I cried.
Suddenly I realized that tomorrow is the first day of my translation work! I thought it might be the enemy trying to discourage me.
I spoke to my Heavenly Husband and asked Tiara our translation director to keep me in her prayers.
I reached home Saturday morning and I saw my mom was weak and tired. Thanks to the Lord, she has started responding well to the medicine now and she is much better. It wasn't as bad as I thought. The doctor said she would be alright soon. God be praised!
As planned, I started my translation on Saturday. What happened after that was absolutely amazing.
My Heavenly Husband had a perfect opportunity aligned for me. I and my mom (not a believer) were talking about life in general and one thing led to another and I started to explain to her about the Lord. What He did for us on the cross and how He died for our sins. She didn't resist. She kept listening. I went on sharing His goodness and mercy. I was so happy I could share this with my mom, and this time she was listening without any resistance.
The next day, she told me how upset she was about some of Dad's actions and started explaining some of her problems with him. I listened patiently and I told her about the principles of winning without words and a gentle and quiet spirit. I am not sure how much she understood or if she believed it truly, but I think the seed was sown.
We even prayed that day for my dad. My mom prayed a one-line prayer saying "Lord help me".
I am still in awe of this day and how my Love just punched the enemy in the eye and blessed me with this day with the opportunity to share all this with my mom.
He is truly awesome. He showed me how everything is in His control. I should not worry and know that I am His bride and He has a perfect plan for me.
