His Way and in His Perfect Timing

Wow where do I start? This has definitely been a rollercoaster month for me, with ups and downs but wow, my HH (Heavenly Husband) has been doing some AMAZING and UNEXPECTED things \o/

Reflecting back on the month I think it started with an amazing PROMISE he gave me for my family during our Zoom Fellowship. I read the lesson but the IMPACT happened during our Living Lesson Fellowship. It was LL70 "There's NO Shame". The scripture from the Lesson literally leapt out from the computer screen at me and grabbed my heart and I knew that it was a promise my HH was giving me for my family and I started crying...

"Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up the former devastations, and they will repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations." Isaiah 61:1–4

I knew that the Lord was speaking to me and telling me that He would repair the former devastations and desolations of my parents divorce and in my brothers life who has a drug problem that you may have read about in previous praise reports.

Not long after this I became very ill with gastritis which was aggravated by heartburn which I suffer from off and on. Then I got the flu... It took a long time to recover from the pain in my tummy and the flu... But Wow looking back today I can only thank my HH (Heavenly Husband) that stayed close to me. He was there holding my hand and gave me this promise:

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

During this period of illness when I felt down and asked Him for His love and joy to fill my heart my Love was ever-faithful, He would renew my strength and fill me with His love and joy, giving me the strength and energy I needed 🙂

BUT what I really want to share is something amazing and totally UNEXPECTED that HE DID!! Suddenly I got a call from my youngest brother to say that he got a CALLING to stop drinking. I told him that this was wonderful news and we chatted a bit about how it would be great for him... But as our conversation progressed it turned out the CALLING that he mentioned was not just about drinking but a calling to change his life! He told me it was a calling from God \o/

My brother said had some encounters, the 1st was with a friend that told him about how his drinking was ruining his marriage and how his wife had told him to stop drinking or she would leave him. The 2nd encounter he had was another friend who approached him offering him cocaine! Praise God he refused! After these encounters is when He felt God was calling Him to not only stop drinking but to change his life.

Brides, can I tell you that I have been trusting the Lord for a very long time for years for the salvation of ALL my family members?! I always thought that salvation would come to my brother that has a drug problem 1st!

But His ways are not our ways?? Are they??

I definitely did not expect THIS brother who has a good job and good life to phone me telling me about what I shared with you!!

I heard from my brother again later telling me he's been to church, he went up for prayer and when they had an alter call and says he enjoyed meeting people at church. I even saw on his social that he is listening to worship music and he mentioned that he wants to be a good example to my brother who is on drugs \o/

WOW TOTALLY UNEXPECTED \o/ This praise that I am sharing is beyond what I could ever imagine happening.

My love is just totally awesome like that and while we are waiting on Him to answer our prayer and the deep desires of our hearts we can just rest in Him and live as HIS BRIDE, happy and joyful as we rest in Him and surrender to Him the deep desires of our hearts \o/

This is how my HH (Heavenly Husband) works, not in ways I would ever expect or imagine or think or wonder. That is why we must always not lean on our own understanding but know that He does things in His way and in His perfect timing.
