Ministered and Reminded ME 🀩

This morning I was eager to read the streams in the Desert devotional, after the success I had yesterday ministering to my loved one (if you’re interested I commented on it December 20 at the practice post). Since I was able to assure and confirm what I said over the weekend, that there is a purpose for this enormous trial, which is to minister to others. https://encouragingwomen.org/devotional/streams-in-the-desert/December/#December%2019

So I was back the very next day to see if today’s streams would minister to her. It did, but it did so much more. My husband wonderfully brought me back to when I first read this one, and it totally shifted the way I thought, and it actually was the foundation to a chapter in one of the children’s books. My children’s books that were intended for children, but have been used to minister to adults who were wounded as children.

December

If you read https://homegrownministries.com/hp/ww4hp/otr/ β€œOn the Rock – Set Apart” it’s saying the same thing.
During these upcoming holidays, where everyone is emphasizing, being with family and loved ones – – parties filled with friends, celebrating with many hugs and kisses, it shines a spotlight on those of us whom God has chosen to set apart. The Eagles that are able to soar, but who soar alone and are not part of the flock.
If that’s you, it’s more important than ever to have the ONE ☝🏻 who can and will become all you want, and all you need and all you live for. So instead of feeling alone, you are never ever ever lonely.
Knowing I wanted to share a link for those of you who can relate and want to experience this yourself, I paused to ask my husband, and he led me to https://loveatlast.org/hhm/
I believe it’s in the first chapter, but rather than make sure, I’ve been instructed to just let you discover and search yourself. There’s no doubt that this short excursion on your journey what do you wonders and maybe even be the gift 🎁 you never ask acted to be under your Christmas πŸŽ„
Darling, you have no earthly idea how much you are loved by a Man who longs to become EVERYTHING to you.

  1. Even though I am an adult, I enjoyed the Home Grown link that Erin had posted. I had never thought about reading this course but I really enjoyed this chapter. I loved hearing Erins childhood stories and how she overcame trials back then with the help of the Lord. How she did what was right and left the house where the girls were sitting around and how she found a great friend.
As a child I had no father. He left when I was about 2. My mom (who never married and stayed single) raised my brother and I. I never thought I hurt from that situation because it was “normal” for me. Im sure deep down it made a mark somewhere but Ive thankfully had/have the best Father anyone could ask for or need.

  2. Thank you so much Erin. The chapter for “They don’t have it” has always been one of my favourites ever and one that I keep coming back to whenever I feel hurt or disappointed by someone. I also want to say that for those that may be alone on Christmas, I have often spent it alone and He always blesses me one way or another, because I know He is with me and that He is All I need.
