That Didn’t Work Very Well

☊ PRAISE from Sara

Hello ladies, today I want to share how the resources we learn here can be powerful not just in our lives but also in the lives of those close to us.

One of the principles that we learn and it's one of my favorites is that we should not try to change peoples' minds, we can't control their actions. We learn that we first take everything to our Heavenly Husband and let Him change the hearts and minds of our loved ones.

One of my dearest and closest friends was struggling with that. You see ladies, is not because some of the women are married and have no crisis in their marriage that they won't benefit from what you and I have learned in this Ministry and in our Restoration Journey.

My friend is married to a godly man who fears the Lord but has a very strong mind about some things in his workplace. My friend was sharing that she was very discouraged and tried to resonate with her husband, to change his mind about something that she believe they need to do with their family. Well, that didn't work very well. So when she came to visit and shared how heartbroken she was, I listened and asked my Beloved how could I encourage her. I felt He leading me to share about being agreeable, to be quiet, and gentle, and that the Lord changes hearts. Instead of trying to talk to her husband and convince him to see things her way, she could go to the one who can do the impossible, to the one who is able to change hearts and situations, to the one who brings peace and the one who takes our worries and anxieties away.

My friend didn't have faith enough that her husband could change in a short time. But left with a purpose in her heart to ask the Lord for help. Two days ago she shared the amazing news, without saying a word, her husband completely changed. How amazing He is!

The Lord changed her husband's heart and mind, and she didn't need to fight or say anything. She just gave it to the one who does the impossible.

Ladies trust in your Heavenly Husband, don't listen to the lies of the enemy and the world that says that hearts cannot be transformed by Him.
