  1. To be honest, I noticed every time I thought about taking my wedding ring off, it was to try to get my eh’s attention, maybe to see if he’d notice or make him think I had found another. Pretty much to make him jealous. That’s how I knew I should KEEP IT ON and not let the enemy win. Love is not jealous, Love is not self seeking. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

  2. Dear Bride, I know it might be confusing right now to know when to take your rings off. Like Hope shared, before I found RMI I used to take mine off for the wrong reasons, thinking I would get a reaction from my former husband.

Once I found RMI and read the lesson on wedding rings (https://hopeatlast.com/c2/d8-wedding-rings/), I put my rings back and kept it on until the day the divorce was final, that was when I took it off for the last time. My fh wanted the rings back to sell it for money, so after Seeking God (https://hopeatlast.com/c1/d16-chapter-12-seeking-god/) I gave it to him.

I would also like to encourage you to listen to the BeEncouraged videos (https://encouragingbookstore.com/women-resources/be-encouraged/) in Course 1 (https://hopeatlast.com/c1/) and Course 2 (https://hopeatlast.com/c2/).

    1. Well – I read about letting go – therefore it seemed necessary to do remove them.

But honestly, I promised for every after. So I was in between πŸ™ˆ

  3. Dear Bride, I too took off my wedding rings for a few months at one time because I was angry and desperate. Then a day came when the Lord kept having me look at my bare finger. There was a strong urge to put the wedding rings back on as if I heard Him say – “if you are seeking restoration, you need to put back on the rings”. So I did and that was before I read the wedding ring lesson on RMI. Everything I read just confirmed why I was “hearing” Him about this. For me the rings represented the vows I made in front of the Lord. β€œSacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” Psalm 50:14-15

  4. I got myself a beautiful ring with 3 crosses (one is silver,2 gold) on them. I wear them to remind me that 1. Yes, I am still married, and that 2. I belong to my Heavenly Husband. Also, to show that I am not interested in anyone else.
Like Adina mentioned, in her comment about the lesson on wedding rings will give you more understanding on when to wear them and take them off.

  5. That you so much everyone. I felt naked, when I took them off. The vow in front of them lord made me to put them on again. I think that it’s needed for the Restauration πŸ’•
