I was gifted contacts for my birthday through my Heavenly Husband and it’s something that I have been wanting for such a long time because when I drive I have to wear glasses or if I want to see anything clearly far away, I have to wear my glasses.

I have been enjoying it for the past few weeks now and it’s just been amazing! Every time when I put them in, I have 20/20 vision and how appropriate is that for this year of 2020? Well, my story is that my eyes were a little irritated and so I was rubbing them. That evening, I went into the bathroom and attempted to remove the contact in my right eye, but I couldn't locate it. That was the moment when I could have really begun to be fearful and dwell on the possibility of it being lost in my eye or I began to think maybe I had rubbed it so much that it’s no longer in my eye but what I had to do is trust my Heavenly Husband that everything was going to be okay.

It was pretty late at night there really wasn't much that I could do and so I just decided I'm going to get into bed, I'm just going to surrender this to Him, and I had removed the contact from my left eye and I had no idea what was going on with my right eye. My right eye had already become very red and bloodshot but I thought maybe that was just because I had been messing with it.

I put it all to rest and I actually slept so well and in the morning I could tell that more than likely it was in my eye because something didn't feel right so walking into the bath again I just surrendered it to Him and sure enough there it was hiding underneath my eyelid and it was NOT there last night but it was that morning!! It was just amazing to me to think about how fearfully and wonderfully made that we areβ€”that my eye rejected it. It was there after surrendering it to Him and so for me that was such a praise report and I just wanted to share it with you because even in those little things we don't have to worry just as it says in Scripture thatβ€”we can trust in the Lord with all our heart and we don't have to lean on our own understanding and in all our ways we can acknowledge Him and He'll sort everything out.

Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
