Our dear Atarah was with us this week, sharing her podcast “Sitting in the couch with my Love”
I loved to hear her sweet voice while telling us what she was feeling and facing, and how her Love and Husband was sitting by her side to renew her strength keeping her wrapped in His arms

O WOW Paula, just last night I was talking to Janine about how He led me to talk about forgiveness on the Cape Town Retreat that also led to the podcast series. I was “commissioned” to talk about the “Gentle and Quiet Spirit” in the WW book during the retreat. During the days leading to the retreat, I read through the lesson, asking HIM what I should share, and HE stopped me at the heading “FORGIVENESS,” and I knew that was what He wanted me to share, not knowing what a huge impact this would have on the ladies at the retreat, but HE KNEW and HE used me to share this important topic with the ladies. The message and sharing what He laid on my heart, was also healing for me.

And the one IMPOSSIBLE person(s) to forgive are those who have robbed children of their purity—that’s rampant in the USA. Many of the MEQs checked this box because it is often why marriages are destroyed. The innocent victims of this crime, against the emotional well-being of a child, doesn’t only include struggling to FORGIVE the offender but the mother/father who failed to protect them (and many others, I imagine).

O yes, this is something so many women struggle with and never find healing and forgiveness, partly maybe because its done in secret. PTL abuse was never something that happened to me, yes I saw the devastation of alcohol and depression, but never any form of physical abuse. BUT it carried over from my mother, as a child she was abused by her stepdad (her real father passed away when she was very young) and it was something that haunted her, and it played a huge part in her struggling with depression and later turning to alcohol.
Thank you for sharing Adina. Just recently I asked my younger sister if it had happened to her and shared how many close calls I had and she shared hers—but by the GRACE of GOD we were both spared. My relationship with her suffered bc I tried to protect her but she never understood. The truth is I couldn’t protect her or my daughters or granddaughters—grandchildren bc it’s not only girls/females 😢
I honestly have NO IDEA what I am doing and feel beyond inadequate but that’s when He reminded me it’s exactly how I felt and told Him when I began writing the men’s rym and WM—because I never wrote the women’s rym or WW—HE DID and I’m not even good at typing haha 😂
I’m confident in HIS PLAN and even thought that some chapters could be written by different BNN brides as apart of their healing ❤️🩹

Thank you so much dear Erin, it wasn’t me but my dear twin sister😭 and our cousin that went through it. I was always the one protecting my twin sister (because I am a few minutes older), but that day I couldn’t (although I was with the man and them in the car when it all happened but we were so young) and for years it felt that my sister hated me but our loving Lord heals and today with have such a close relationship.
It was on the retreat after Adina spoke of forgiveness out of the WW book that my very Loving Heavenly Husband led me to forgive someone that had physically and emotionally abused me (but yes I feel it is totally different from being a child that is abused because so many women keep the abuse they went through as child, a secret😭), but that unforgiveness I also couldn’t carry any more…
Thank you for sharing so much wisdom Janine. We must press into Him to guide us as women, mothers, grandmothers, aunts and big sisters to know what HE wants us to do in RMI and HGM to deal with this crisis differently than the world to gain testimonies to help others who suffer silently and worse who suffer from being outspoken, sharing details adding to their innocent suffering.
We touched on this just slightly when we encourage this younger generation to remain morally pure—when they feel dirty because they were robbed of their innocence.
