I had nothing to give

Hi brides, its end of the month and soon its time for me to tithe, but l want to share that a month ago l was in lack. It saddened me that l had nothing to give and that l could not give my tithe or an offering like l became accustomed to doing.

You see, l had nothing to give so l needed to ask Him where and how can l give? I had many conversations with Him about my situation and told him l know l need to tithe and give but l cant because l have nothing and then He provided so that l coud give.

I knew that the way out of poverty was to give so my Husband set up little instances for me to give when l asked. He showed me to comment and encourage and post praise on this blog. Then He showed me to give the whole amount of the small amount of money my mom blessed me with. My friend has a party business so when she asked if l could help her set up for a kids party and a babyshower l said yes of course (she also paid me which was unexpected).

It was not long after that and after spending time with Him and after He led me to fast that HE provided a way for me to earn an income from home.

So really l just want to share that if you are in extreme lack ask Him to provide ways for you to give just like the widow in His word that gave her very last. Look out for the opportunities.

When l counted my blessings and l thought back l felt that l just wanted to share this. Perhaps there's someone out there that needs to hear this.

Theres many lessons on giving and tithing that l read so l will share these links but theres many more so please share them in the comments https://hopeatlast.com/get-help-to-hurdles-over-your-fears-with-testimonies-milestones/milestone-1-tithe/

Learning the principle of giving is life changing and no its not easy to give when you have nothing. But try it and you will be surprised.

He, always faithful, showed me how I could give from what my husband gave me to feed me, after he guided me to fast weekly I could give the money for that weekly meal as an offering and little by little He opened the way so that I could tithe. . How beautiful it is that when HE sees our heart eager to obey Him, HE opens a way where there is none.

  4. Your testimony about faith and giving is moving! I love how He helped you to find creative ways to still give back. It’s a great reminder that He is always faithful.πŸ’•
