Just read from Prison to Praise

"Sing to the Lord a new song;Β sing to the Lord, all the earth." Ps. 96:1

I finally read the recommended book, Prison to Praise, and WOW.

I was so excited and encouraged that when I was invited by some friends to go have tea, I was bubbling over telling them about this radical but biblical concept and command of praising Him for even the bad things.

Then, that night, I went to the new women's group and I was able to share with them this amazing book.

After a day of thanking Him for all the bad and the good ....

It occurred to me that is how we are to be continuously giving Him praise. It truly is nonstop if we praise Him for the big "bad" and the small "bad"

And truly non of it is "bad" it's the way He chose to bring us His grace and His goodness for our Good!!

Oh, and I was even able to read the books for free because my finances are low (praise God) πŸ˜πŸ™Œ

I just started reading the book called Hinds Feet on High places. It's a beautiful book so far.

Highly recommend, so so wonderful!

  1. Thank you for sharing precious Rasa. The fact that our Darling Lord controls everything, gives us a reason to thank Him in all circumstances, because just realizing that fact, we know He will work is all out for our good, because He loves us and all the challenges He allows in our life is for our good. I loved reading that book, it really let me think and encouraged me so much.

And my Darling has been leading me to be thankful in all circumstances and I see when I start thanking my Darling for really everything, my whole mood changes and I just know He is in control.
“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1T5:18

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. β€œThey are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” J29:11 https://biblehub.com/jeremiah/29-11.htm

  2. Prison to Praise is an amazing book dear Rasa, before I read it I did not know about the principle of giving a sacrifice of praise, thanking Him and praising Him in all circumstances. Since I have been focussing on Praising Him in the storms, things changed so much, mostly in me and how I go through the trails and how we see the trails we are going through. I love this Living Lesson: https://loveatlast.org/living-lessons/week-68-praise-in-the-storms/

  3. I agree, Prison to Praise is a good book. I’m so glad you were able to share it with your friends and the women’s group.

  4. I never knew how to praise Him in the storm. It was such a mystery to me. I even thought that people who said they did were lying and not really able to praise when things were going wrong. But this chapter in our Ministry and the book that was recommended Prison to Praise really renewed my mind and heart and taught me how to praise Him for everything. This really took fear (something I struggled with and suffered with for all my life) away knowing that He is in control and allows everything for His good perfect purpose.

I also just fell in love with the book Hinds Feet In High Places. I really saw myself my journey in this book. I had such an amazing experience reading it. It brought me to a deeper level of intimacy and trust with my Beloved.
