My Former Husband Came Back and He Was a Little Different

The enemy lies have no power. The truth is that the Lord is greater and rewards those who wait and obey Him \o/

On the next day, my FH (former husband) came back and he was a little different, I don’t know what the Lord did, but when the day before he left saying that we could not begin a relationship without being intimate first, the next day he was calmer. We begin to talk when he asked me about sin and spiritual questions. I was able to share with him about the Lord, ladies I was not preaching to him, but answering his questions, just like Peter says that we need to be ready to give a defense to the hope that is in us. He kept making questions and asking about my friends that are Believers and was even interested in meet them so he could listen more. That for me was a breakthrough and the Lord showed me that He is faithful and my obedience towards Him does lead to fruits.

He left happier than the day before and we made plans for the next day. I could only rejoice in my Beloved for the opportunity given, there He showed me that it would not be like the last time and that He was working something different.

During the time we spent together we kept doing things we did as a couple, going to places that we enjoyed, eating our favorite foods, so there was never any awkwardness between us, and that’s what the Lord showed me that is difficult for my FH because when we are together it does not look we are divorced.

The next day he picked me up, he drove 1 hour to pick me up and to drive me to my friend's house that was 10 min from where I was staying, I never asked, he offered and I thanked my Beloved for the opportunity. By saying no again to him and by keeping myself morally clean from fornication, adultery. The Lord began to soften my FH's (former husband) heart.

"but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect..." 1 Peter 3:15
