HTBB: Principle #14 “Be a Doer”

♕ Today's Promise: Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.”

To complete our HTBB series, I have always sensed that it needs one last principle to complete the series, which also, noting that it would make 14 principles, or a double #7 “it is finished” “it is finished” was confirmation enough for me to SG "seek God" for His wisdom and for Him to lead me. Almost immediately I knew that the principle to complete and tie it altogether is for us to become a doer.

“But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.” James 1:22

“Put the word into action. If you think hearing is what matters most, you are going to find you have been deceived.” James 1:22 VOICE

“Don’t just listen to the Word of Truth and not respond to it, for that is the essence of self-deception. So always let his Word become like poetry written and fulfilled by your life!” James 1:22 TPT

“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” James 1:22 NLT

“Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.” James 1:22 MSG

Maybe my favorite version is “Don’t just listen to the Word of Truth and not [or fail to] respond to it.” Reading and taking to heart what’s been said may just be the first step, but responding or doing something about what’s said, when you know it’s the truth, is how to put everything into action. However…

As His bride, He doesn’t want our lives to be burdensome. Instead, He wants us more than any person in the world to trust HIM to do it.

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He will do it.” Psalm 37:5

It’s like He is whispering, "Dearest bride of mine, 'apart from Me you can do nothing' (John 15:5) so please just ask Me to carry this burden or responsibility or change what needs to be changed."

So, if you seriously want "Blessings for a Lifetime" to begin or continue "Running Over & Spilling Over" so you and others can watch "The Blessing & Anointing Flow."  If you want to be sure that "Whatever [You] Do, [You] Will Prosper" so that you are "Lacking in Nothing!" while you "Increase the Spirit" and shout praise as you "Bring Forth Your Harvest."

For you to have a "Character of the Heart" and "Live in the Blessings of the Lord" so you are able to "Name Them One by One" and share with others "Powerful Tools for Victory" so you and they can "Rise to the Higher Ground" and "Take Your Throne" where He wants all His brides to be. You must be a doer.

And to be a "Doer" means you must have a heart-to-heart with your Beloved Heavenly Husband not just when you first become aware of a principle or any principle, but each and every time you’re reminded that you are lacking.

He wants His brides “lacking in nothing” (James 1:2–6) but not so the blessings can be hoarded, but so that each blessing you receive can be shared—preferably scattered amongst those who are crying out.

If there is one common thread of those who live each and every year BLESSED are those who are known to be a Giver.

“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” Luke 6:38

While the opposite is also true. “There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered." Proverbs 11:24–25

To miss being blessed every day, every year, are those who withhold any blessings. They withhold paying someone a compliment (though they are thinking it) or withhold paying their tithe to their storehouse. They withhold compassion from those who they feel are “underserved” and are baffled to know why God “seems” to have ignored their prayers and withheld His promises from them.

Knowing the kind of GOD we serve, the GOD who created us, which can be summed up in this one key principle—the principle we all have our foundation of being blessed.

God loved—so He gave.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

God Loved—so He GAVE

Now it’s your turn to give, to be a doer, to reap because you sowed.

Be a Giver, Be Blessed this and Every Year!

  1. Dear friends, with this reading our minds are renewed about everything we have been learning in these wonderful principles of this series, and in this last one, reminding us that we have to practice the word and not just be a listener.
I was able to remember the importance of sharing the blessings received by our Beloved. I was able to understand that the more we donate, whatever it may be, the more we will receive, and the more we sow, the harvest will be more abundant.
There is so much wisdom in this series, and I invite you, dear friend, to read and re-read as many times as necessary so that everything remains engraved in our minds and hearts.
“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” James 1:22

  2. With today’s principle I was reminded that we must be doers and not only hear the Word, but do what the Word says. Our precious Lord does not want our life to be full of burdens, He wants us to trust in Him. You must have a heart to heart conversation with the Lord every time you feel that you are falling short. You have to give. You must grant others prosperity. You must give your tithe. You should have compassion for others even if you feel they don’t deserve it.

  3. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
all who practice them have good insight.
His praise endures forever.” Psalm 111:10

the word of my Heavenly Husband is living and sees full of love and power. In order to live our lives so carefree and in full joy, He has taught us the most important principle in the lesson. Everything He has left for us is for us to do and obey His Word. He has shown us His love by letting us know what we can do for others. Because of this, the blessings will continue to come and overflow to those around you that you love. The first thing we can do is give our tithe. This is the complete protection. Then comes the giving of everything we have received for free. The more we give, the more He will give us of everything we desire and need. Isn’t that a wonderful love of our Lord!!!!

  4. My Husband ministered to me so much today, that it led me to write what I learned from this lesson as praise that I want to share with you, wich is about “Be a Doer in Flesh”. (Please, use the translation tool to read in English 🇺🇸):
