I must not forget to thank Him πŸ™Œ

Hi ladies,

I wrote this praise on Monday this week https://encouragingwomen.org/rejoice-always-pray-continually-give-thanks/ and in it l shared that my Husband was reminding me about having a heart of praise and thankfulness. I was praising Him for the provision of things l dont have and what was worrying me.

My Husband provided in a BIG way through eh. Not even an hour after l wrote the praise report. It was just so crazy l could not even believe it!! HE provided!! It turns out that while l was praising eh was praying.

Ladies this principle works!!! Thank Him if you lose your job, thank Him if you are going thru marriage struggles, divorce, thank Him if you are going through difficulties, trials, illness. Use it as an opportunity to draw close to your HH and experience His joy and delight in you. Dont lean on your own understanding but thank and praise Him for His provision, His healing, His peace or whatever it may be that you are trusting or praying for.

To sit and worry is a waste of time, your worry cannot change anything. But praise in the middle of your storm does! When things look really bad that is the perfect time to develop a heart of praise and thankfulness!

My mom is turning 70 at the end of this month and so l was thanking my Husband for His provision because we wanted to send her for a spa pamper. My mom has never had a massage her whole entire life or visited a spa. So we sending her for a full body massage with the extras .

The other thing was my bro in law had booked stunning accommodation with amazing sea views for Christmas at the beginning of this year. We have not seen my sister and her family for a couple of years… The kids have grown so much and l really wanted to see them. We agreed to an amount to be paid towards the accommodation. And then we had my mom come to live with us so thats extra. The money was not there and i was becoming very anxious 😬 My Husband provided πŸ™Œ l paid the portion that needed to be paid this month yesterday. I know He will provide the balance before we check in.

The other thing im trusting for is the fees for my sons homeschooling which he starts next year, another HUGE praise!! It includes all the curriculum, books etc. So now when l think of it or want to worry… im also just thanking and praising Him.

The LL l shared in my previous praise report Erin shared about a cloud as small as a mans fist, well this IS my cloud in the sky that is signalling the downpour thats coming because there’s even bigger things that l am thanking my Husband for.

I was reading a devotion for today and it reminded me that l cannot forget or not come share my praise because my Husband deserves it ALL πŸ’–

Even if you are praying and trusting Him to move mountains please be sure to come and share a praise before its answered because its definitely a heart condition.

  1. Thank you for this beautiful praise precious Atarah, this is such a beautiful reminder. He really deserves it ALL πŸ’–
I am so grateful the Lord is using the stroke my dad had to move us closer to Him abd closer as a family.

  2. Thank you Atarah for this reminder to praise Him even through our troubles. I tell myself, I will send in the praise later and then often do not because either I forget or I feel maybe it’s not encouraging enough.

  3. My sweet Atarah
Firstly, I am so happy to hear from you. πŸ€— And I praise the Lord for visiting this post today to find a message for me. This is exactly what I must remember and embrace.
Since I have been facing issues with my eh’s health, serious illness of some people I really appreciate and struggles… a shadow has cast over my heart and sadly my vision of His promises has been overshadowed. You know, it seems like everything is getting worse.
Thanks to His mercy, I was led by Him to read and be focus on one principle of How to be Bless: Lack of nothing. It is taking me time to absorb and take up EVERY PROMISE behind the storm.
Now by reading this post, I know that faith is also connected to a grateful heart even when it seems impossible.
I’m thankful for your report and I trust mountains are moving before being moved.

  4. Dear Ararat, I absolutely love this praise! Praising thru the storms are not easy but it really nurtures a thankful heart no matter what we are going thru. For the first time today I heard my older daughter saying β€œI love Jesus” and she keeps on singing the β€œJesus loves me” song in my car. Then my younger one started singing as well. My heart is full, knowing I am on the right track with my HH πŸ™‚

  5. Wow thank you for sharing Atarah! Praising our HH through trails and difficulties sounds so counterproductive, but it’s one of the most powerful principles I’ve learned on my journey. Even through the worst trails where I had no words to pray, I just praised Him because He deserves it all.

He provided for you and your family in so many amazing ways, loved reading your praise. And I also have to pay the first quarter’s homeschooling fees, didn’t expect the bill this soon after we enrolled the children, but I know He will also provide for that. And I loved this as well: “It turns out that while l was praising eh was praying.”
